Working within the fine art of bookmaking, students will learn about various bookbinding techniques, including pamphlet stitch, flag books, and accordion. In this fun workshop each student will create an original artist book, reflective of their personal voice and acquired skills of the medium.

Ages 7 to 9 with an adult caregiver. Maximum 16 participants.

Lisa Conrad is a visual artist, curator, art director, and educator. As a practicing artist, she has created a multifaceted body of work including ceramics, works on handmade paper, artist books, paintings and prints.

PLEASE NOTE:

• Please register in advance – maximum 3 children per registration.
• If you register but cannot attend, PLEASE CANCEL so others can participate. Our instructors put so much time and effort into preparing and we hate to see them with a half empty studio! 
• Workshops will start promptly and latecomers will not be admitted.
• Walk-ins will be permitted only if there is space.
• Children aged 9 and under require an adult caregiver to be present.
