The Need in Our Community Has Never Been Greater
Children in our community are facing unprecedented challenges. Many hardworking students strive to reach their potential but often lack resources, guidance, and enrichment opportunities. The widening opportunity and achievement gaps leave many without the tools and support to succeed. These gaps hinder students from building strong academic foundations and confidence, limiting readiness for advanced coursework and narrowing post-secondary options. Providing support and access is key to helping children thrive and strengthening our community. Those of us who can help must help.
Our Mission
Succeed2gether is a high-impact, low-budget non-profit dedicated to leveling the educational playing field for underserved families in Essex County. Powered largely by volunteers, we provide:
- Free one-on-one tutoring
- Enrichment classes
- A five-year wraparound mentorship program
- College advising and readiness support
- Summer-boost one-on-one instruction
- And more—all at no cost to low- and medium-income participants.
Our Impact
In 2025, with your partnership, we:
- Increased tutoring services by 16% to serve 141 students.
- Expanded mentorship enrollment by 50% to serve 10 students.
- Enrolled 56 students in enrichment programs.
- Delivered individualized summer-boost instruction to 17 children.
In addition, 86% of students had a consistently high level of engagement and 63% of students had a high level of understanding of grade-level material
