Succeed2gether is excited to partner with Arielle Eckstut and David Henry Sterry, aka The Book Doctors, to offer FREE one-on-one college entrance essay help to high school students who lack financial resources and other advantages that their affluent contemporaries can use.
We are now offering this program FREE and via Zoom. Contact us for details.
The Book Doctors will work closely with students to craft essays that reflect their unique stories and backgrounds. Regardless of their writing skills, Eckstut and Sterry can help any high school senior to write their very own essay (they will not be writing the essays for students, unlike some of the services parents use for essay help). The skills learned during this process are ones these students can take with them throughout the rest of their lives. They include: How to communicate clearly and effectively; how to use language to express emotion; how to construct an argument/narrative with a beginning, middle and end.
Arielle Eckstut and David Henry Sterry are co-founders of The Book Doctors, a company dedicated to helping authors get their books published. They are also co-authors of The Essential Guide to Getting Your Book Published: How To Write It, Sell It, and Market It… Successfully. Arielle Eckstut has been a literary agent for over 20 years at The Levine Greenberg Rostan Literary Agency. She is now the agent of Newbery Award winner, Kwame Alexander. She is also the author of 10 books and the co-founder of the iconic brand, LittleMissMatched. David Henry Sterry is the best-selling author of 16 books, on a wide variety of subjects including memoir, sports, middle-grade fiction, and reference. His first book has been translated into ten languages; his latest book was featured on the cover of The New York Times Book Review. They’ve taught at Stanford University, Indiana University, Smith College, and other institutions. Some of the publications they have appeared in include The New York Times, The Washington Post, and The Wall Street Journal.
