Eva will review the steps an author should take before starting the publishing process, the different types of self-publishing routes there are – from complete DIY to working with self-publishing companies – and actionable strategies to self-publish like a pro. Everything a savvy indie author needs will be covered in this workshop, part of the Do the Write Thing writing workshop series.

Topics include: beta readers, editing, book covers, distributors, exclusivity, ISBN numbers, front matter, back matter, ebook vs. paperback, book descriptions, tagline and subtitles, international markets and more. We’ll dig deep to understand what these things are, why they’re important and how to decide what’s right for you and your book.
